Cassie Chao is a director on Craft’s talent team focused on helping portfolio companies with their recruiting infrastructure and hiring strategies. She spent the last 10+ years helping build and scale technical teams through hyperscale growth, up to 30x headcount, and experienced three successful exits. As an early talent team member at Palantir, Uber, and Sonder, Cassie has grown technical teams across engineering, product and design globally. Prior to joining Craft, Cassie built the recruiting function from the ground up at Threads, where she also discovered her passion for recruiting operations. Helping teams understand their pipeline health, analyzing their data and key metrics, and improving overall hiring process and candidate experience are a few of the many areas she is passionate about.
