Chris’s areas of focus are government relations and public affairs, and he advises the portfolio on how to identify, prioritize and strategize regarding their particular areas of need. Chris has started and led the Government Relations and Public Affairs functions for six venture-backed companies. A thought leader in the tech policy space, Chris helped create and execute the launch plan for Lyft in over 72 cities, worked with regulators to understand the Zenefits value proposition, built support for the expansion of consumer and small business financial services at Square, created room for innovation among regulators to launch a new approach to telemedicine at Hims & Hers, and gathered broad support for the expansion of digital consumer banking at Chime. Chris brings 30 years of experience guiding organizations on how elected officials, regulators, and policy influencers think about a wide range of issues.
