Lainy is a partner on the investment team. She invests primarily in SaaS and Marketplaces. Previously, Lainy worked at Battery Ventures and Gainsight, a B2B customer success startup where she helped lead business operations. Lainy started her career at Goldman Sachs on the technology investment banking team, advising companies including PayPal, LinkedIn, Zendesk, and 2U. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary.
Lainy is an active member of All Raise, the non-profit dedicated to increasing representation in venture capital.
